Creating One MyChart Experience
M Health Fairview was formed to expand access to world-class, breakthrough care by combining the best of academic and community medicine. On July 11, we’re making it easier to access that care by consolidating the HealthEast electronic health record into the M Health Fairview electronic health record. MyChart is part of that system. You’ll continue to have access to care from all M Health Fairview locations and providers, and now your healthcare records and notes will be conveniently located in one place online with M Health Fairview MyChart.
For MyChart Users
If you have a HealthEast MyChart:
If you have a HealthEast MyChart account and also have a M Health Fairview MyChart account, your HealthEast records – including after-visit summaries and test results – will appear in your M Health Fairview MyChart account.
If you have a HealthEast MyChart account but do not yet have a M Health Fairview MyChart account, one will automatically be created for you, and you will be able to continue using your same username and password. There are a small number of users whose username is already in use within the M Health Fairview MyChart. Those users will receive instructions for setting up a new M Health Fairview MyChart account. If you have not received any communications about duplicate usernames, you’ll be able to use your current HealthEast MyChart login information to login to M Health Fairview MyChart.
HealthEast MyChart users may experience interruptions to direct scheduling capabilities in their HealthEast MyChart during the weeks leading up to the July 11 consolidation. You’ll still be able to request an appointment via MyChart. You can also call 1-855-FAIRVIEW to schedule or change an appointment. We apologize for any inconvenience during this time.
Beginning Monday, July 12, you should use M Health Fairview MyChart for full access to schedule appointments, communicate with your care team, request a medication refill and view your health record.
If you have a M Health Fairview MyChart:
If you already have a M Health Fairview MyChart account, you can expect to see the same MyChart experience, with one new addition. You will now be able to schedule appointments at our East Metro locations that previously carried the HealthEast name. If you are an M Health Fairview patient who also maintained a HealthEast MyChart account, you will now be able to see your HealthEast visit data within your M Health Fairview MyChart account.
Appointments at our East Metro locations on or after July 12
If you have an appointment at one our East Metro hospitals or clinics during the week of July 12, you may experience some delays as our staff at those locations navigate the newly consolidated M Health Fairview MyChart. You may also be asked to validate information during the check-in process that you validated at your previous visit. Additionally, all appointment reminders, messages and notifications will come from M Health Fairview instead of HealthEast.
