Your provider will order a CT scan for you to diagnose injuries, certain diseases or to understand how well your treatment is progressing.
Bone Density Scan (DEXA - Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiomety)
Your provider will order a bone-density screening to measure the strength of your bones or to determine how well your treatment is progressing.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
MRI uses magnetic waves and computer technology to create a detailed picture of the part of your body being examined.
A mammogram is an X-ray image of your breast used to look for breast cancer and other breast disease. The breasts are compressed between 2 plates to improve accuracy and to decrease the amount of X-rays used.
Nuclear Medicine (NM) Test
Your provider will order a nuclear medicine (NM) test for you to diagnose certain diseases or to understand how well your treatment is progressing. Nuclear medicine may also be used as a treatment for some diseases.
Positron Emission Tomography and Computed Tomography (PET-CT or PET) Scan
PET-CT combines nuclear medicine and CT technologies to create detailed pictures. PET-CT is also used to understand how well your treatment is progressing.
Your provider will order a diagnostic ultrasound for you to evaluate certain conditions or diseases. Ultrasound uses soundwaves to create a detailed image of part of your body being examined.
